Vulkollan®

The high-performance elastomer

Vulkollan® is one of the most powerful elastomers in the market. The mechanical as well as the dynamical features of this material lie on an exceptional high level. Therefore, Vulkollan® is most often used for superior tasks in many technical fields. Vulkollan® is produced by casting at temperatures exceeding 100 °C. In a multistage process, developped by Bayer, this high performance elastomer is produced through chemical reactions between polyesterpolyols, Desmodur® 15 and glycols. Vulkollan® is only manufactured by specially licensed processors. They produce technical parts, half-finished and, mainly, finished parts, like wheeles and roles to deal with specially high dynamic loads.
